Easily accessible is also Garfagnana, the Serchio valley, the mountain area of the province of Lucca, with its many small quaint villages and its important medieval towns: Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Barga, Castelvecchio Pascoli, Borgo a Mozzano and its beautiful “Ponte della Maddalena” (called the “Devil ” bridge), Bagni di Lucca, with the famous natural spa, offering holistic and natural treatments.
For those who love the caves, there are the Wind Cave or the Cave of Corchia. Noteworthy is also the Orecchiella Park, where among the many present species of animals, we can also find the wolf.
